About MegARISE

The Protection of Vulnerable Catchment Areas in Meghalaya is a KfW funded project to be implemented in the state of Meghalaya. The objective of the project is to improve water availability and security by mainstreaming scientific participatory approaches to sustainable catchment protection and community forest management. The project is being executed by Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA).
