Ganol CMU conducted FPA-1 at Galwanggre village, which has 110 households and is located 30 km from the district HQ and 15 km from the Block office.

On 3rd March 2026, Ganol CMU conducted FPA-1 at Galwanggre village, which has 110 households and is located 30 km from the district HQ and 15 km from the Block office. The village lies in a hilly area with about 50 bighas of forest, and livelihoods mainly depend on horticulture, particularly arecanut plantations, which support household income and children’s education.

The program had 25 participants and featured a Drawing Competition with two groups (13 and 15 participants). Winners were selected for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and consolation prizes (4th–6th) in each group.

A Storytelling Competition with 6 participants highlighted stories about the village’s formation, streams, and springs flowing into the Ganol River. The winners were Shri Linbirth Ch. Marak (1st), Shri Salnang Sangma (2nd), and Shri Omen B. Marak (3rd).

The event successfully encouraged children’s creativity and community participation while highlighting the village’s cultural heritage and water resources.
